Sand layer casting refers to a molding method that incorporates CAD data into a sand layering device to directly shape sand molds. This process allows for the omission of traditional steps essential for manufacturing cast products, such as creating wooden or resin patterns and conducting trial castings, thereby shortening the overall lead time.
